You don’t have to go to Mardi Gras to celebrate Shrove Tuesday before Lent begins.

On Sun., Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m., CCUMC will host a Shrove Sunday Celebration. A local group specializing in biblical storytelling, Breath of Christ Ministries, will present a drama “The Miracle of Multiplication.” It’s based upon the story of the loaves and fish found in the Gospel of John. Afterwards, gather in Fellowship Hall to share dessert and conversation. Our Youth have volunteered to be the servers.

Can you come? Bring your favorite pie, cake, or other sweets; special desserts will be auctioned off that evening with the proceeds going to support our Youth ministry.
