We structure our service projects so that anyone who wants to get involved will be able to demonstrate their faithfulness and creativity. We provide opportunities for all to identify and utilize their spiritual gifts to provide hands-on service and ministries to others.
The Mission and Service Team provides on-going and short-term giving and volunteer opportunities throughout the year:
Hillcrest Ministries – sponsor a family in transitional housing

Christmas in October – assist homeowners repair homes in Kansas City communities
Thanksgiving Turkey Drive – collect donations of money and turkeys for Harvesters
Project Lighthouse – provide needed items to Native American communities
Cropwalk – walking and raising money for hunger
Mission Trips – to Greensburg, KS; Joplin, MO; and South Africa
Serve 2011 – Responding to a world of violence through love and service, several KC churches worked together to feed and clothe those in need throughout our community
